This is a 12- month contract opportunity and is available to candidates across the Vancouver, BC or Calgary, AB area. Perks & Benefits:Excellent Growth and Development opportunitiesCompetitive hourly compensationResponsibilities:Manage work queues, incidents, requests, and service level agreements in accordance with policyPerform operational tasks related to the daily function of enterprise DFS and file-sharing environment both cloud-based and on-premises, including capacity management, share permissions and access, and management of associated AD group structuresPerform operational tasks related to the daily function of enterprise data protection and disaster recovery infrastructure, including capacity management, job management, and data protection key performance indicatorsPerform operational tasks related to the daily function of enterprise data content indexing, eDiscovery, and Legal Hold within the CommVault environmentAs required, participate as a contributor to projects and initiatives undertaken by the Enterprise Data Management team or the large Infrastructure Support groupContribute to the maintenance and updating of technical documentation related to the functions of the data management teamQualifications:Diploma in Computer Science or Management information systems (MIS)Experience working with Microsoft MCP3+ years of experience in IT Systems Administration and 3+ years of experience managing Microsoft Server operating systems in an enterprise environment1+ years of experience managing Linux server operating systems (CentOS / RedHat) in an enterprise environment3+ years’ of experience supporting Windows file shares and DFS3+ years’ supporting virtualized environments (VMWare ESX, Hyper V)Experience supporting Cloud (Azure/AWS) environmentsWorking knowledge of enterprise-level SAN storage and networkingRespond to and assist in production operations in a 24/7 environment as part of an on-call rotationMust possess knowledge of Microsoft Azure, VMware ESX, storage, Microsoft Server family, Linux, and CommVault Systems software.
