Enjoy a work/life balance, Mon-Fri daylight.We are seeking a polished and professional identity and winning attitude from an Experienced Manager or Recent College Grad.Must meet USDA Professional Standards for School Lunch Program, which include BS Degree in Dietary /Food Safety/ Food Service Management or Similar. Also qualified with or BS degree in any concentration IF Certified in School Nutrition. Previous Managers in a K-12 School lunch program may qualify with lesser degree depending on depth of experience in School Lunch Program.Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for a Rock Star Food Service Director/GM who shares our passion for Food and Service. This position is a prominent opportunity in a busy commercial kitchen and café operations setting and requires a polished and professional identity and winning attitude from a Director with experience leading a team in all operations. Experience desired in a Contract Dining Food Service setting such as Hospital, School, College, Senior Living or Corporate Dining accounts.The Food Service Director/ GM has an overall responsibility of food service. He/She institutes company cycle menus and recipes; plans and oversees purchasing, employee personnel programs, scheduling, bookkeeping, customer and client relations; overseas the food preparation service and sanitation; and is accountable for the total operation results. The General Manager reports to Client Administration and The District Manager.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE3+Plus Years in a Food Service Manager role (front and back)Knowledgeable in Retail Sales and POS systemsCatering Management ExperienceImpeccable Communication SkillsRestaurant Management knowledgeThorough knowledge of Menu implementation with stunning presentation ideasTeam Building with strong Recruiting and Retention ProgramTechnology SavvyHospitality Degree a strong plus Metz Culinary Management Values are what separates us from the competition.
