OverviewRadisson Greens Golf Course is located in the planned community of Radisson. The Robert Trent Jones, Sr. design features large, bent grass greens, tight tree-lined fairways, large bunkers guarding all greens, with fairway bunkers on all but five holes. Lakes provide water in play on six holes and add to a challenging round for the most skilled player, packaged in a beautiful, scenic layout. Job Summary The Head Golf Professional will manage the golf operations including managing and tracking play, supervising golf staff, responsible for all merchandising functions, managing tournaments and leagues, and providing other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience. The Head Golf Professional will report to the facility owners on a regular basis and will manage a supporting staff. Experience Required Candidates must be PGA Members or Level III Associates in good standing with golf management experience. Desired knowledge and experience include golf management, rules of golf, computer applications, event management, staff management and supervision, golf merchandising plus strong customer service and communications skills. Highly desired are energetic, self-motivated candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit and attitude. Priorities & Success Factors Market and promote the facility to maximize rounds Market and promote the facility to retain current members and recruit new memberships Market and promote the facility to attract additional outside events Efficiently manage the golf operation to maximize profitability Promote tournament and event participation to members and guests to maximize participation Organize and conduct tournaments, events and leagues Essential Responsibilities Directs daily activities of the entire golf operation in accordance with the philosophy, policy, and procedures of the ownership of Radisson Greens Manages the Golf Shop to ensure the highest level of service to patrons and guests. Specifically, the Head Golf Professional must: Ensure that all patrons and guests are greeted and welcomed in a professional and courteous manner. Plan for and schedule manpower.  Establish and maintain the daily "pace of play standard." Maintain a high profile with patrons and guests. Must positively promote the service philosophy of the ownership of Radisson Greens. Establish and administer the club tournament program. Assist in the development of promotional materials to communicate the programs to patrons and guests. Assist in the planning and execution of outings and tournaments. Assume responsibility as the manager/supervisor in the Pro Shop during the peak periods ensuring service standards are maintained.
