Determine causes of breakdown or failure in electrical or mechanical equipment. Repairs, adjusts, modifies, and services all equipment. Works as directed with project Manufacturing Manager and equipment. Repairs, adjusts, modifies, and services all equipment. Works as directed with project Manufacturing Manager.This role is located in Verona, VA and will be fully on-site. Schedule: 3rd Shift (Sunday - Friday 10pm - 6 am)  Responsibilities 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:Work safely and promote the safety of those working around you; help build a proactive safety cultureIdentify and correct potential safety hazards in order to prevent injuriesMake the equipment available to the production workforce byDetermining the cause of equipment breakdown or failure and make necessary repairsAnalyzing drawings, manuals, wiring diagrams, etc. as required to install, repair, calibrate or otherwise service all types of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic devices and systemsApplying preventative methods and routine maintenance to reduce unplanned equipment downtimeTroubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctionsProvide input into the preventive maintenance programsSupport management of spare parts inventoriesKeep the building and support equipment in working order by performing repairs and modificationsCoordinate with outside maintenance and repair contractors when necessary to complete work Develop and support maintenance scheduling and planning including Preventative Maintenance effortsActively participate in 5S activities3rd Shift Maintenance Technician Qualifications:A demonstrated safety orientation5 years manufacturing related maintenance experienceExperience troubleshooting PLC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic machine systemsElectrical knowledge up to 480 voltsSelf-starter with a proactive mindset able to prioritize work based on the schedules, goals and objectives of the organization.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writingExperience using a maintenance management system such as FIIX Qualifications Joining Wieland’s team gives you…Benefits - Starting on Day 1 Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & moreRetirement Savings - 401(k) contribution + match.Work/Life Balance - Paid Vacation & Holidays.Growth Opportunities - We have over 8,000+ employees worldwide and 35+ locations in North America alone.
