Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Variable Hour Company: Generations Home Care Location: Gig Harbor, Washington Type: Hourly, individual contributor role Compensation & Benefits: - Hourly pay rate of $23 to $42, depending on length of shift (we pay more for shorter shifts) - Paid twice a month - Flexible scheduling options - Opportunities for career growth and development within the company - Access to company-sponsored healthcare benefits (for full-time employees), vision and dental insurance, 401k, vacation, sick pay, and performance based bonuses that earn up to $1/hour more.  Job Summary: Generations Home Care is currently seeking quality Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s) to join our team in providing home care services to our clients in the Tacoma, Washington area and throughout Pierce County.As a CNA with our company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients by assisting them with their daily activities, providing emotional support, and promoting their overall well-being.This is a variable hour position, with opportunities for part time or full-time work depending on performance, client requests and availability.  Our goal is to be the best home care provider AND EMPLOYER in Washington State.That means that we value our employees, their feedback, and all that they contribute.If there is anything in the application process, interview, orientation, or employment stages that we can improve, we hope that you will tell us.We are always trying to get better for you and our clients.Our Tacoma office serves all of Pierce County, along with Federal Way, Auburn, Lacey, and the surrounding areas.  Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming for our clients - Assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and other household tasks - Assist with mobility and transfers (e.g.using Hoyer lifts, transferring from bed to chair, etc.) - Reminding to take medications as prescribed by the client's physician, following proper procedures and protocols - Document all client care activities accurately and timely in accordance with company policies and procedures - Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare team members to ensure the best quality of care for our clients - Use of agency technology for monitoring time and productivity (app based clocking in and out, task tracking, etc.) - Maintain a safe and clean environment for our clients, following infection control and safety protocols - Demonstrate professionalism and ethical behaviors at all times while providing care to our clients Requirements: - Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Washington or the ability to earn one within 200 days of hire - High school diploma or equivalent - Current CPR certification or ability to earn certification - Ability to pass a criminal background check - Kindness and care are the top priority  - Excellent communication and reliability - Compassionate, empathetic, and reliable - Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license EEOC Statement: Generations Home Care is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcome individuals from all backgrounds to apply.
