Start your journey with YesCare today and be part of a team that is transforming lives through care and expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesYesCare Midlevel APRNs provide direct care to inmates in the correctional institution and provide emergency care to staff while observing and maintaining the requirements of securityProvides appropriate health care to inmatesDiagnoses and treats inmates within his/her scope of practicePerforms routine history and physical (H&P) examinations where applicableOrders and, if necessary, performs laboratory studies, X-rays, examinations, and electrocardiograms, as appropriateInitiates consultation requests and non-formulary request with supervisory physician’s approvalEducates inmates relative to medical conditions, use of drugs, diet, weight control, effects of prescribed treatment, etc.Documents all patient contacts in medical record using Problem Oriented Medical Record format and SOAP chartingMaintains confidentiality of medical records - Orders medications while adhering to the established formularyParticipates in the data collection of the CQI program and participates in the CQI committee, as neededPerforms other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervisorKey QualificationsGraduate of an accredited programHolds a current license to practice in the state where facility is locatedCertified or eligible for certification in the scope of practiceCompetent to perform responsibilities as defined by state’s practice actMaintains current CPR certificateYesCare Benefits (For Full-Time Positions)Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife and Disability InsuranceGenerous PTO Plan401k with Matching FundsEmployee Discount and Rewards ProgramTuition AssistanceContinuing Education ReimbursementWhy Join YesCare?YesCare provides a supportive and structured environment where you can thrive in a leadership role while delivering meaningful healthcare in a correctional setting.
