Personal Care Attendant

St. Barnabas is hiring PCAs for multiple shifts at our Beaver location  Essential Duties as Personal Care Attendant (PCA): Provide residents with support in their activities of daily living, while promoting residents to function at the highest level of independenceAssist residents with daily hygiene activities, transferring and ambulationMake daily resident and environmental roundsMonitoring resident safety & well-beingServe resident meals and deliver meal trays to resident rooms if neededAssist Food Service Department with plating of food, cleaning of tables, and cleaning of dishes as well as other food service duties as neededPerform basic housekeepingWash, dry, fold and deliver resident laundryEncourages resident participation in activities, assist residents to/from recreational programs & assist with programs as neededAssist nurse with taking blood pressure, temperatures and weightsPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications as Personal Care Attendant (PCA): High school diploma or GED requiredSuccessfully pass a background and drug screeningCaring and compassionateDemonstration of leadershipDedicated to providing quality careMust be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
