Now Hiring Crane Operator - Osceola AR Night Shift Wed-Sat Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate overhead crane to safely lift, move and position loads on transports and throughout the facility. Observes load hookup and determines safety of load. Manipulates remote crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal or signal directions. Basic computer skills Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism. Inspects crane for defects and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions before each shift. Ability to operate load charts as needed to operate the crane safely. Understands the stability requirements and weight limitations of the machine they are operating. Understand OSHA regulations relevant to the safe operation of a crane. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers and co-workers. Must have good mechanical aptitude and basic math skills. Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard operating practices. Physical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance on assigned shift. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. with frequency, lift, bend, stoop, push and pull. Manufacturing environment; regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions. Noise level is usually loud. #TK2
