Submittals, shop drawings, RFI’s, subcontracts, operation and maintenance manuals, etc.).Provide field employees with the necessary support to allow the project to be completed expeditiously.Assist PM in extra work estimating and issuance of change orders. Assist PM with equipment releases and tracking. Support construction project meeting attendance and documentation. Act as liaison between trades and other departments within the company.Distribute, follow up, and respond in writing to all punch list items in a timely manner.Conduct on site visits to gain field experience required to ascertaining productivity of trades, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.Gain industry knowledge to provide technical assistance and support, i.e., engineering, interpretation of drawings, recommendation of construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.Participate in weekly staff and project management meetings.Perform additional tasks assignments per PM and Regional Manager’s direction to support branch and company operational efforts. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent combination of previous construction and/or engineering office related experience. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel. Safety Awareness: Executes all tasks as assigned in a safe manner and utilize safe work practices as appropriate. Must wear PPE equipment when entering working around or in an area designated as PPE required.Must undergo Driver’s Skills Assessment training necessary for travel to worksites (if applicable).Will train on OSHA 10 and 30 as appropriate. Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury.
