We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer  to join us. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power Zotec’s proprietary technology products, enabling the organization to make data-driven decisions. What you’ll do: Collaborate with a diverse team of product owners, data scientists, ML engineers, and software engineers to design and implement robust data pipelines and architectures Build, manage, and optimize ETL/ELT processes using AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and other cloud-native services Develop and maintain Redshift data warehouses, data lakes, and other cloud-based storage solutions to ensure high availability and performance Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all data systems Work with structured and unstructured datasets, transforming and preparing them for analytics, machine learning, and reporting Design monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards to ensure smooth functioning of pipelines and workloads Provide technical leadership on best practices for data engineering, data modeling, and data governance Optimize existing pipelines for performance, cost, and scalability Participate in technical reviews, daily scrums, and knowledge sharing Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth and technical excellence What you will bring to Zotec: 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related technical roles Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus Strong experience with Python for building data pipelines and automation Hands-on experience with AWS services: Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Redshift, and data lakes Solid SQL skills and experience writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries in Redshift or other data warehouses Experience with large-scale ETL/ELT design, implementation, and optimization Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning Familiarity with workflow orchestration, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices Experience with data governance, lineage, and data security best practices Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Revenue Cycle, Healthcare, and/or Health Insurance industry experience is beneficial At Zotec, you will enjoy a network of highly experienced professionals in an environment where you can operate with autonomy yet have the resources and backing of other professionals in a similar role.
