Responsibilities Lead our established Trauma group, currently consisting of five physicians and eleven APPs, at Northside’s only Level II Trauma CenterPreferred demonstrated experience with building and managing trauma program, specifically related to an Acute Care Surgery modelJoin large team operating in high acuity environment with State-of-the-art facilitiesOur Gwinnett and Duluth team received the Beacon Award for Excellence Gold DesignationGenerous compensation including Pension Plan and comprehensive benefits packageVoted by Newsweek among America’s Greatest Hospitals in 2025 Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited institutionBC/BE in General Surgery and/or Surgical Critical CareFellowship training or extensive experience in Trauma SurgeryValid state of Georgia medical license and DEA registrationDemonstrated proficiency in the management of traumatic injuries and complex surgical casesStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to providing patient-centered care with compassion and empathyWillingness to participate in on-call coverage and respond to trauma activations as needed Work Hours: Varies
