If so, we want you on our teamPosition: Maintenance Technician ILocation: The Lyra, Sarasota, FLAbout Us:At Richman Property Services, Inc., we strive to provide high-quality apartment communities that our residents are proud to call home. We prioritize exceptional customer service and create secure, welcoming environments for our residents.Responsibilities:Perform daily repair and upkeep of the propertyPrepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlinesManage service requests and ensure timely completionMaintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air ActOversee inventory and care of tools and equipmentComplete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely mannerUphold company policies and provide exceptional customer serviceSeek educational opportunities for personal growth and developmentAssist in property preventative maintenance planCollaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and groundsPerform on-call duties and occasional overtimeRequirements:Education:High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferredExperience:Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or GroundskeeperProficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.Must own basic tools as allowed by state lawsKnowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing LawsStrong organizational skills and ability to work independentlySkills & Certifications:EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferredValid Driver's License requiredProficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposesBenefits:Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits packageQuarterly Increase OpportunitiesMedical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage401(k) retirement plan with employer match of $0.50 for every $1.00 up to 6%Opportunities for student loan repayments and tuition reimbursementPaid sick time, vacation time, and opportunities for career advancementJoin Our Team:Please Note:We conduct criminal background and drug screenings as part of our hiring process.
