Job Description Allied Universal® is hiring aTrafficManagementSpecialist. TheTrafficManagementSpecialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe flow of vehicular and pedestriantrafficthrough the terminal facility at the Airport. Responsible fortrafficsafety, parking enforcement, and compliance with TSA mandates, the specialist assists the traveling public, provides information, and maintains a strong focus on customer service by creating positive, friendly, and helpful interactions.Specialistsshall promote a positive travel experience by providing enhanced hospitality. They are a reflection of the Airport Authority, often providing the first and last “person-to-person” interaction the travel public have with the airport environment. Coordination with the Aviation Authority's enforcement staff andmanagementof curb activities are key aspects of the role. Additionally, duties may involve initiating parking citations, towing coordination, and preparation of necessary reports.Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeMon04:00 AM - 12:00 PMFri04:00 AM - 12:00 PMSat04:00 AM - 12:00 PMSun04:00 AM - 12:00 PMRESPONSIBILITIES:Performtrafficmanagementduties and adhere to the approved Operating ProceduresEnsuretrafficsafety, parking enforcement, and enforce TSA mandates on unattended or waiting vehiclesProvide crowd control services in emergency situations or inclement weatherAssist the traveling public by providing information about flight activity, parking options, and other relevant assistanceMaintain a focus on customer service, emphasizing interpersonal skills in both written and verbal communicationCoordinate with the Aviation Authority’s Landside enforcement staff and commercial vehicle activities at the curbInitiate calls for parking citations and coordinate with the towing contractor for removal of unattended vehiclesMaintain accurate records and reports of activities as necessaryBe active and visible on the curb (outside), not in the terminal (inside)QUALIFICATIONS:Possess a high school diploma or equivalentAbility to obtain an Airport Authority CredentialA valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions onlyMinimum of 2 years of verifiable work experience, preferably intrafficmanagementor customer serviceStrong Interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to de-escalate conflicts and maintain composure in challenging situationsAbility to handle emergency situations and provide excellent customer serviceWork actively in designated areas and adjacent zones when necessaryDisplay professionalism and courtesy at all timesUnderstanding oftrafficmanagementprocedures and parking regulationsAbility to enforce rules logically and apply good judgment skillsAttentive listening skills; ability to listen to customers, offer positive solutions, and assert authority only when necessaryBONUS QUALIFICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED):Prior airport operations,traffic, and/or customer service experience (one or more years is ideal)Certification Intraffic/curbsidemanagementor related fieldExperience working in a fast-paced and dynamic outdoor environmentBENEFITS:Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insuranceEnrollment in our company’s 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirementsSeven holidays annually paid at time and a half, if worked40 hours of vacation after one year of employment at eligible work assignments.
