Other duties reviewing correspondence, purchase orders, summaries, manuals, vouchers, records, and actions such as filing and data entry. You are constantly on your toes and ready for any new and unexpected challenges that may arise in the city. This can include performing weekly, monthly, and annual inventory for audit; inspect merchandise; price items and display merchandise effectively. You generally assist with balancing the cash register at the start and finish of each shift; open and close the facility according to established policies and procedures. You also assist with greeting, purchasing items and making suggestions to customers while providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. You enjoy being helpful and have no problem providing assistance and support to other divisions within the department as needed.
