You'll be: Responding to customer inquiries accurately, timely, and courteously through various channels including telephone, written, web, or walk-in inquiries. Reviewing and adjudicating claims and/or non-medical appeals, determining whether to return, deny, or pay claims based on organizational policies and procedures. Identifying and processing adjustments for incorrectly processed claims according to department guidelines. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a High School Diploma or equivalent and possess 2 years of customer service experience, including 1 year of claims or appeals processing; or a Bachelor's Degree in lieu of work experience. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, and have good spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills. Are proficient in basic business math and can handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
