Description The Department of Marketing at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, invites applications for a full-time, tenured position with a 9-month academic appointment beginning Fall 2025. Applicants will be considered for the faculty title of Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate is expected to conduct research in marketing strategy and/or quantitative approaches that examine marketing phenomena. All candidates are expected to be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality. In addition to publishing in leading marketing journals, the successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, participate in all aspects of the department’s activities, and serve the profession. The Mays Business School and our department offer an excellent research environment, with a collegial culture, productive faculty colleagues, access to key databases, a state-of-the-art behavioral research lab, a teaching load of three courses per year for highly productive faculty, and relationships with world-class research faculty in related disciplines. Housed within the Department is the Center for Retailing Studies and the Reynolds and Reynolds Sales Leadership Institute; exciting opportunities exist for collaboration with member companies. Qualifications Applicants for this position must possess research and teaching interest/emphasis in marketing and have earned a PhD in Marketing or a related field. Special consideration will be given to candidates whose research has had a significant impact on theory, practice, or the society. As the Department of Marketing has a strong Ph.D. program, we are particularly looking for faculty with a track record and interest in mentoring doctoral students and junior faculty.
