About the Role As a key member of the Program Management team at BetMGM the Director, Program Management will be responsible for the BetMGM product portfolio and roadmap planning, ongoing feature activation and continued prioritization of the portfolio in alignment with the company strategy. The Director, Program Management will act as the liaison between all BetMGM Product Areas, the Entain PMO and BetMGM PMO team to ensure a successful and timely execution of the product roadmap. Using your strong process and planning skills, you will work together with your team to manage the regular Product roadmap process and ensure the delivery against plan. You will work with the Product team to gather inputs from stakeholders, facilitate the prioritization process, and collaborate with the PMO Process team to continuously advance the planning process. The Director, Program Management will cultivate key relationships within the BetMGM and Entain organizations to shepherd in a new, dynamic way of working that provides alignment across the companies and cuts down the time to market for new features. The ideal candidate will have strong multi-tasking skills and an ability to plan/prioritize a changing workload within a fast-paced environment while dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. Responsibilities Manage the roadmap planning and activations project management team, consisting of project managers supporting each BetMGM Product area (Design, Customer Experience, Platform, MarTech, Omni) Drive standardization across all Product areas as it relates to PMO deliverables and drive process definition and implementation Define the strategic goals of the team based on the needs of the business and incorporate them into the processes Onboard new hires by educating them on the BetMGM project management and roadmap management processes, and roles and responsibilities related to their position Provide direct line management to departments projects managers by setting performance objectives and providing guidance and coaching to ensure set objectives are met Review work products across the team to ensure all project risks are raised and an accurate project status is communicated and represented in project documentation Closely work with the Entain PMO team to define, implement and continuously improve the roadmap planning process across all BetMGM Product areas and ensure consistency Facilitate the regular roadmap planning and prioritization process and ensure all submissions adhere to the highest quality standards Build strong relationships with all BetMGM Product leads and partner with them to understand inefficiencies in the planning process, eliminate any roadblocks and drive improvement of any roadmap related processes Support in the regular prioritization of the portfolio to ensure it remains aligned to strategic objectives Develop a regular project and portfolio status reporting cadence and process for BetMGM in alignment with Entain Monitoring and actively managing project deviations to resolve issues and bring at risk projects back on track Create and deliver senior stakeholder presentations, summarizing the BetMGM Product roadmap including strategic initiatives and key focus areas Oversee and drive a robust change control process to enable risk mitigation and enable transparent communication when significant impact is expected Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time Proven authority and responsibility for effectively and efficiently managing complex change portfolios Proven strong performance in prior project management and/or delivery roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence Substantial experience of working with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies and associated tools and techniques Proven people leadership experience, especially in building, leading and motivating teams Willingness to act as mentor and coach to build on colleague’s strengths and improve on weaknesses, acting as one who listens and gives honest feedback Ability to successfully work across cultures and locations, driving team cohesion and effectiveness Experience developing a function or department in a fast-paced environment preferred Ability to inspire via superior communication & interpersonal skills are required, experience communicating and interacting with executive teams required Excellent communicator who is able to get one’s message understood clearly by adopting a range of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience and the nature of the information Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with a wide range of stakeholders Experience using tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Trello, etc. to optimize team efficiency Experience in a gaming and/or digital preferred Building BetMGM from the ground up takes effort, energy, and teamwork, but that’s what will make leading this industry all the more satisfying.
