OverviewNew Haven Country Club is seeking a seasonal, PGA Member or Apprentice for the position of Assistant Golf Professional. The selected candidate will work closely with the Head Golf Professional and the Golf Professional Staff as well as other managers throughout the club to ensure the highest level of service to the New Haven Country Club membership and their guests.A successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the daily golf operation. The Assistant Golf Professional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Assist and/or manage the Golf Shop and merchandising responsibilities. - A personable and professional individual with the ability to engage members on a daily basis -Assist in displaying Golf Shop merchandise -Assist the Head Professional in the management and execution of an extensive tournament schedule. -Assist Head Professional with the day to day management of the golf operation. -Opportunity for privagte and group lessons with a strong junior and ladies program -Play golf with the members. -Understand and communicate to the members club policies i.e. rules, pace of play, dress code, etc. This position is seasonal and will begin the spring 2026 season. The postision will conclude any time from September 30th through October 15th each season.Benefits PGA Education Allowance Uniform Allowance Playing & Practicing Privileges Meals while on duty PGA Dues Paid
