The Assistant General Manager will assist the General Manager in delivering performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork and clearly communicate business objectives. The Assistant General Manager should be able to confidently perform the duties in the absence of the General Manager. PROACTIVE forward thinking / acting leadershipSeeking a dynamic leader competent, capable and motivated to achieve the following:Train, coach, mentor, motivate, supervise FOH teamHands-on individual capable of all FOH positions and willing to roll their sleeves up and work all positions when necessaryScheduling and Ordering competenciesRecruiting skills - resume review, interviewing, on-boardingExcellent admin capabilitiesProcess / Checklist oriented manager - NOT a "wing-it" managerHighest level of responsibility, reliability and diligenceLeader who understands the FUNDAMENTALS and ensures they are applied every day / every shift - - - that the guest experience and team member experience is what success is all aboutCollegial personality - someone who can work effectively with: ownership, general management, corporate, all team membersDiligent and responsive to all communications: emails, texts, corporate conference calls/zooms, meetingsTechnologically proficient so as to most effectively utilize managerial tools such as Toast, Hot Schedules, Jolt, Yelp, etc...Willingness to learn all aspects of the business including developing a proficiency for BOH as wellPIb80c89c4ec9e-30511-35066014
