As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and communication to all visitors and tenants. You will monitor access points, respond to security-related incidents, and help to deter unwanted activity, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $17.37 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and staff members at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence at the location.Monitor access to the premises by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs, helping to deter unauthorized entry.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and site-specific policies.Communicate with property management and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and observations.Support emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation and incident response protocols.Maintain accurate records and reports of security-related activities and incidents.Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and requests from tenants, visitors, and staff, and directing them appropriately within the location.Remain alert to unusual activity or potential security-related concerns in the immediate area of the front desk.Minimum Requirements:A guard card or license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
