Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk with problem-solving skills and a genuine passion for delighting clients.The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining clients’ financial records, specifically related to sales tax. As an Accounting Clerk at our sales tax consulting firm, you will confirm the accuracy of these records, and then use those records to timely and accurately prepare, file, and pay clients’ sales tax returns across the U.S. and Canada.This role requires extreme attention to detail, expertise working within Excel, and familiarity with accounting and tax software programs such as QuickBooks Online, Shopify, WooCommerce, NetSuite, Avalara, TaxJar, and other commonly used software programs.The successful candidate will be well organized, and effective at time management and prioritization as there are filing deadlines spread across various days throughout each month.  Prior experience with filing sales tax returns is a plus, but not required as long as the candidate without prior sales tax filing experience is a quick learner who is open-minded to learning/acquiring new skills and receiving feedback and constructive criticism along the way.If you are driven by the pursuit of excellence, take pride in your work, and value the atmosphere of a private, family-run business that emphasizes work-life balance, we invite you to apply to join our team of dedicated professionals who have a relentless dedication to customer service.Company Overview:We are a leading sales tax consulting firm, specializing in providing comprehensive sales & use tax solutions and expertise to businesses of all sizes.
