Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a dynamic team responsible for building and maintaining cloud-based insurance applications. This role focuses primarily on production support, while also offering opportunities to work hands-on with development squads on coding, infrastructure-as-code, test automation, and process improvements. The goal is to eliminate manual efforts and enhance software quality through automation and modern DevOps practices.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide production support for business-critical applications and ensure platform stability and reliability.Collaborate with development teams to implement infrastructure-as-code, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.Participate in agile workflows and contribute to coding, testing, and process improvements.Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact incidents quickly and effectively.Drive migration efforts to cloud-centric solutions and research innovative approaches for reliability and security.Build strong relationships across teams and technology partners to ensure seamless delivery.Represent team efforts in business meetings, user groups, and organizational forums.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience.Hands-on experience with Linux (user and permissions management, file systems, performance tuning).Proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, S3, Glue, Route 53, IAM) and Kubernetes.Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Splunk) and SLI/SLO metrics.Strong knowledge of databases and SQL (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB).Familiarity with ETL tools (Control-M, Informatica).Experience with DevOps tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, JIRA, Artifactory, Sonar.Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, Bash, or PowerShell).Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.Knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud migration projects.Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills for innovative solutions.
