The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Designing and developing cloud-based software applications and components using modern programming languages and frameworksParticipating in an Agile/Scrum development environment, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectivesAnalyzing software requirements and developing solutions that meet business and technical needsPerforming code reviews, requirement analysis, and system risk assessments to ensure software quality and maintainabilityEvaluating and recommending emerging technologies and tools to enhance team productivity and system performanceContributing to both front-end (ReactJS) and back-end (C#/Java) development efforts, depending on your skills and interestsBasic QualificationsMust be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any engineering field.Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.Preferred QualificationsPrevious internship experience preferred.Proficiency with C# or Java for backend developmentProficiency with ReactJS and JavaScript for user interface developmentSolid understanding of object-oriented design (OOD) and object-oriented analysis (OOA)Familiarity with software engineering principles, SDLC, and cloud-based architecturesStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple prioritiesExcellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working in a team-based environmentRSRCAR Pay RangeThe salary for this position is between $36,750– $127,500 annually.Carrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
