Responsibilities:

  • Execute the company's sales strategies for existing and new markets to ensure the attainment of sales goals and profitability.
  • Facilitate the planning and execution for Distributor Food Shows, National Food Shows, and other events.
  • Manage the customer sample request process with the internal team and follow up with the customer to obtain feedback.
  • Prepare action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans/campaigns, Point of Sale marketing materials, and the company's online profile (website, social media, etc.).
  • Meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes.
  • Foster customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Provide customer support and customer service to exceed customers' expectations. Always provide the best possible experience for doing business with Aphrodite.
  • Provide timely feedback to management regarding opportunities and performance.
  • Maintain records of all pricing, sales, and reports generated by sales activities.
  • Assist Management in preparation of sales proposals and presentations.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPI's.
  • Experience in the food industry and building distribution/broker networks is a plus
  • Ability to travel to company events and customers as needed. Approximately 25-50% travel during certain periods.
  • Must be a self-starter and work independently as well as be a key part of the team.

Pay and Benefits:

  • $60,000/annually plus uncapped commission plan
  • Benefits after 60 days
  • PTO after 90 days
