Surgeon - Locum Contract, Maternity Leave Coverage

Description Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care is looking for a veterinary Surgeon with experience in small animal surgery for a temporary position with our team on Long Island. The hired candidate will provide surgery service coverage for a maternity leave, with duration anticipated to begin in January 2026 and run through May 2026. Practicing at Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care, you will experience: Newly-renovated facilities: Our stand-alone specialty center that is expanding into a larger space in 2025, allowing us to enhance our already comprehensive services, create more room, and welcome new colleagues like you. Our team is looking for: A diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (DACVS), a residency trained veterinarian with practice limited to veterinary small animal surgery, or a highly trained veterinarian with experience managing a caseload of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries Active veterinarian license or license-eligible to practice in the state of New York A partnering collaborator who wants to work with great specialists and practice excellent medicine Position TypeThis is a fixed contract opportunity.
