WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A DIESEL MECHANIC AT OUR WENTZVILLE, MO TERMINAL Our world-class maintenance team assures our transport equipment is active and efficient. We care for the life-cycle of our fleet--scheduled refurbishing, cycling out and replacing our older equipment. We have 30 complete maintenance facilities for our 2600 fleet. We offer Mechanic/Welders who join our team, competitive wages and union benefits. Hours & Pay: •2nd Shift Monday – Friday 12p – 8:30p. Some Weekends. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule. •$30.88/hour + 0.20¢/hr. more per ASE Certification Essential Functions of Diesel Fleet Mechanic •Knowledge and/or ability to diagnose, repair service and maintain our heavy duty trucks and trailers - suspension/hydraulic system, air brake systems. •Perform inspections on equipment; report mechanical issues and problems to shop management. •Communicate effectively to ensure efficient repair and diesel fleet mechanic performance. •Possess basic mechanic tools. •Ensure parts inventory is adequate to meet repair needs, or report as necessary •Valid driver's license; CDL preferred. •Must pass pre-employment drug screen. •Must meet the medical requirements specified by DOT, as applicable Benefits: Company paid medical, dental, vision plan for both you as the employee and your family •Union Pension •Life insurance •Tool Allowance •$30.88/hour + 0.20¢/hr. more per ASE Certification •Paid holidays •Paid Vacation •Sick Pay For more information please contact us at 800-569-5201 or please visit our website www.jackcoopernews.com/jobs.
