Reports To: Service Manager/Shop Foreman Job Summary: The C-Level Technician is an entry-level to mid-level position responsible for performing basic maintenance, minor repairs, and assisting with larger repairs on commercial trucks.This role is designed for technicians who are developing their skills and gaining hands-on experience in diesel mechanics.C-Level Technicians support senior technicians while learning more complex diagnostic and repair techniques.     Key Responsibilities: Basic Maintenance & Repairs: Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks. Conduct tire rotations, replacements, and alignments. Replace belts, hoses, batteries, and minor electrical components. Assist with brake inspections and minor repairs (pads, shoes, drums, and rotors). Inspections & Diagnostics: Conduct DOT and multi-point inspections on commercial trucks. Identify and report potential mechanical issues for further diagnostics. Use basic diagnostic tools to check error codes and assist in troubleshooting. Support for Senior Technicians: Assist B-Level and A-Level Technicians in complex repairs such as transmissions, engine work, and driveline repairs. Learn how to perform basic electrical diagnostics and software-based troubleshooting. Follow step-by-step guidance to gain hands-on experience with diesel engine repairs. Shop Organization & Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow OSHA safety regulations and dealership policies.
