In this hands-on role, you’ll work on some of the most exciting and innovative residential and commercial outdoor projects in the region—from luxury hardscape installs to backyard oases. Ideal candidates will be dependable, motivated, and experienced with sitework tools and machinery such as skid steers and mini-excavators. This position offers long-term career growth with exposure to a diverse range of projects and trade skills across the landscape, hardscape, pool, and outdoor living sectors. Learn more about our work: www.ldig.net Key Responsibilities Operate skid steers, compact track loaders, and mini-excavators (3–6 ton class).Install hardscapes (pavers, bricks, natural stone) and outdoor features.Read and interpret plan maps for site layout and grading.Perform general labor using hand tools (shovels, levels, wheelbarrows, etc.).Install trees, shrubs, mulch, sod, and drainage systems.Assist in carpentry, irrigation, low voltage lighting, and storm drainage installs.Maintain equipment and clean, organized work sites.Support licensed landscape contractors.Follow all safety procedures and team instructions in a fast-paced field environment. Qualifications 3+ years experience in construction, design build, landscaping, or hardscaping.High school diploma or GED required.5+ years operating compact equipment preferred.Valid North Carolina driver’s license required.CDL preferred but not required.Able to lift up to 80 lbs repeatedly, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.Skilled communicator with a strong work ethic and commitment to craftsmanship.Must have an active cell phone with text and camera functionality.Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
