Leads a maintenance team and the overall facility maintenance program. This includes testing of equipment to determine if components of a system need upgraded or replaced.  Check switches, motors, regulators and other parts of an electrical system as required.  Position description – Tasks, responsibilities, competencies •    Leads the maintenance team and overall program for facility maintenance.•    Troubleshoot problems with electrical equipment•    Repair and maintain existing equipment•    Maintain repair and maintenance logs and records•    Coordinate electrical installation of new equipment•    Secures quotes and provides recommendation on equipment and CapEx investments.•    Works overtime hours as necessary.•    Installation and maintenance of test equipment in the assembly bays•    Perform regularly scheduled maintenance/preventative maintenance on established schedules•    Installation of electrical services to various areas within the warehouse and office areas as required.•    Works with outside services and utility companies for 3rd party work and projects.The incumbent considers all interests of quality, accident prevention and occupational safety as well as environmental safety in a preventive manner within his scope of responsibility and supports the avoidance of damages to people, facilities, assets, material and environment actively.The incumbent is obliged to perform tasks requested by management that relate to his position scope or arise from company needs.
