Position Description: COMMERCIAL JUNIOR REFRIGERATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN Day & Nite is hiring skilled Junior-level Refrigeration Technicians with 2-4 years of experience to support our growing footprint in commercial refrigeration service. This role offers exciting career advancement through increasingly complex systemsfrom self-contained units and walk-ins to rack systems and closed-loop cooling. Technicians will work independently in the field, delivering excellent technical and best-in-class service to our food service and commercial clients. TIER 3 TECHNICIAN WITH 2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE Duties and Responsibilities: Replace evaporators and compressors in self-contained units Service and install countertop and large-scale ice machines Troubleshoot electronic refrigeration components Perform leak detection and advanced plumbing Service walk-in coolers and freezers Maintain basic beer system units (e.g., self-contained power packs) Use digital systems to log parts and service data Provide field mentorship to Tier 12 technicians Qualifications: 2+ years of refrigeration experience Strong diagnostic and repair skills in light to mid-range refrigeration EPA Certification required Proficient in electronic troubleshooting and refrigeration basics TIER 4 TECHNICIAN WITH 4+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE Duties and Responsibilities: Install and service walk-in coolers, freezers, and blast chillers Diagnose and repair refrigeration racks and electronic control systems Interpret detailed wiring and piping schematics Oversee medium-to-large refrigeration system installations Maintain safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction standards Mentor and support development of Tier 3 and below technicians Qualifications: 4+ years of refrigeration experience Advanced understanding of rack systems and control diagnostics Ability to oversee and manage project installations Strong leadership and field training skills Must-Haves: Positive attitude, highly organized and energetic Valid drivers license with good driving record Must pass company drug test and background check Good personal appearance and the physical ability to lift 50+ pounds Engaging personality for our fast paced, goal driven environment Competitive individual contributor who loves to win as a team Highly motivated, self-starter whos flexible with a great attitude Benefits: Hourly rate based on experience and company growth potential Factory training and development Advancement supervisory program Health insurance, as well as Life insurance Dental, Vision, and 401K plan Vacation and sick paid time off Paid holidays
