The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Norton Shores seeking experienced Engineering Managers. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technical staff. Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects, including new product introduction and process improvements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for complex production challenges and equipment optimization. Manage the engineering department budget, resources, and capital expenditure requests. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and R&D to align engineering efforts with operational goals. Ensure all engineering activities adhere to safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing). 5+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment. Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement principles. Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects from concept to successful implementation. Strong problem-solving skills and experience in driving technical innovation and process optimization.
