Behavioral Health Specialist, Community Case Manager-154784 Description Behavioral Health Specialist, Community Case Manager Department /Unit:   Psychiatry, Community Psychiatric Support Treatment Team Shift:  Monday – Friday, flexible hours during the day depending on client needs Hours/ FTE :  40/1.0 Expected Starting Salary Range: $21/hr This community-based position requires meeting clients in their homes, community, schools, etc. This requires the ability for the potential candidate to transport clients in their own vehicle to/from appointments, school, community events, etc. At Cincinnati Children’s, we come to work with one goal: to make children’s health better. Community Psychiatric Support Treatment (CPST) and Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) provide services to children and adolescents with mental illness within all settings that meet the needs of the individual. CPST and TBS services provides an array of services delivered by community-based providers, addressing the individualized mental health needs of the client which vary in hours, type, and intensity of services. Sessions are held during the school day, which provides a great deal of convenience for busy families. ·Document accurately and timely the therapeutic interventions provided and response of patients/families/significant adults in the electronic medical record (Epic) per state requirements and established quality standards Qualifications Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline Must maintain less than six points on valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications: Community mental health experience Case management experience Comprehensive job description provided upon request.
