Job Summary The Student Assistant will support the Division of Information Technology Services as a Student Field Technician on the Statesboro Campus beginning Spring 2026. Responsibilities Prepares and installs lab and staff computers Decommissions end-of-life devices Collaborates with team on projects Installs software and hardware accessories Manages asset inventory Creates and maintains documentationTroubleshoots Tier 1 issues Provides technical assistance and training to faculty and staff for software and hardware issues Assists with AV installs and maintenanceShift SpecificsUp to 25 hours per weekFlexible with schedule of availabilityShifts available Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Required Qualifications Educational RequirementsMust be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
