Sr Engineer, IT Enterprise Applications

Responsibilities Implement and support various security solutions and systems. Develop and implement complex dasta integration solutions between applications and platforms. Document process and technical solutions for managing and troubleshooting applications. Research and leverage IT / IT security trends and emerging technologies to create business value consistent with the company's needs and growth expectations. Conduct reviews of already designed solutions, and identify design issues and improvements. Work closely with the infrastructure and security teams to align solutions with strict security policies while maintaining a positive employee experience. Contribute to the development of best practices including standardized templates and documentation. Denine and implement an effective, efficient, and robust ongoing support model using the data integration platform. Take ownership of high level complexity incidents and act at the final technical escalation point. Provide mentoring to the team through design reviews, technical guidance, and soft-skills development. Work with Project Management team to define the roadmap and milestones for each project, and the required involvement of delivery teams. Analyze existing application, solution, and infrastructure architectures to gain insight for potential reuse to support the future state. Identify opportunities and make recommendations for software, process, reporting, or other technology improvements. Establish and enforce processes to ensure a consistent, well-managed, and well-integrated application infrastructure. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited college in IT/Information Security, Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field. In lieu of degree 5+ years of experience is required or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 6+ years of relevant experience Must have at least 3+ years of implementing at solutions in a medium – large sized organization (5,000 users and upwards) with products such as Airwatch, MobileIron, O365, Okta, DLP. Strong experience in technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement enterprise programs One or more pertinent Industry Technical certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, Security +, CISM, CISA, ITIL, or equivalent. Experience with API management technology Experience working with continuous integration and continuous deliver tools (CI/CD) and processes. Preferred Advanced Level Scripting with tools like PowerShell, Python Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar field of study. Working knowledge of security management tools for patch management, vulnerability management, anti-virus management, security incident and event management, etc. Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail, or dental company. Experience with enterprise software implementation. Experience working with API’s, web services, and source control tools. Familiarity with Epic (HER) software system. Familiarity with Domain Driven Design (DDD) concept. Familiarity with Canonical Data Model (CDM) concept. Familiarity with HL7, EDI X12 message structure. Experience with Microservices, Framework Development, DevOps. Experience with GIT, and Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket) Experience in the healthcare/retail industry. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Experience in executing plans to successfully deliver capabilities at other organizations. Must possess strong leadership and communication skills ensuring a consistency from a technical to non-technical perspective and everything in between. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in resource allocation, human resources, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources. Interpersonal and collaboration skills to partner effectively with internal business partners, vendors, consultant resources, including the ability to be both directive and collaborative as appropriate to the situation. Ability to multi-task effectively without compromising the quality of the work. Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, and other members of the business community. Self-motivated, reliable individual capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Strong background in data structures, algorithms and debugging. Demonstrated technical leadership, and successful participation in projects involving multiple engineers.
