Job Description As a Security Guard - Lobby Access Control in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / HourMust be comfortable using computers or tabletsExcellent Customer Service skills required Job Schedule:DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution.Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and managing visitor and employee entry and exit in accordance with established protocols.Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.Support emergency response activities by communicating with relevant personnel and following outlined procedures.Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or inappropriate behavior.Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.Assist with inquiries and provide information to guests and employees while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.Minimum Requirements:Access control or badge experience is preferred.A valid guard card or license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
