This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a customer-first mentality.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Growth: Prospect and generate new sales leads through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels. Account Management: Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention by addressing any concerns or service-related issues. Brokerage Responsibilities: Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to facilitate solutions and ensure the best possible pricing and service offerings for clients. Client Engagement: Establish rapport with clients to understand their waste and recycling needs, provide tailored service options, and close sales. Market Knowledge: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and new product offerings in the waste disposal market. Negotiation & Pricing: Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining company profitability. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., operations, logistics) to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and customer interactions in the CRM system. Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner, providing top-tier support and service.

Qualifications:

2+ year of inside sales, account management, or broker experience, preferably in the waste management, recycling, or related industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed in a sales environment. Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team. Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in the waste management or environmental services sector is a plus. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
