Job Description A real estate investment firm located near Santa Monica is looking for a Property Accountant. The Property Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions for the portfolio of properties. Tasks for the Accountant includes CAM, account, and bank reconciliation, assisting with month/quarter/year-end closes, and preparing financial statements. The Property Accountant will also handle A/P, A/R, journal entry preparation, general ledger management, and other ad hoc duties. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline. At least 1-2 years of accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry. Seeking a problem solver with an upbeat, positive attitude. Knowledge of MRI, Yardi, Timberline, or NetSuite is required. Strong MS Office skills are also needed. Good communication and analytical skills are also required. $73 - 85k.
