JoB Description Summary/ObjectiveThis position is responsible for direct the operation of the assigned employees, to produce the required quantity of product per customer requirements at established Efficiency, Quality and Cost.In this role the production supervisor will be responsible for directing the operators in their department, as well as working with production control and other departments in achieving production goals.Essential functions in this role include:Assign employees daily job assignments to achieve production planMaintain established production standards to control costTrain and follow established safety rules to maintain safe work environmentEnsure employee hours reported are correct for computer entryMaintain scheduling flight deck for information integrityCommunicate with other shifts about production and operatorsMaintain 5s within their departmentSupport and operate within Huron's documented Quality and Environmental systemsEnsure quality in department Train employees in areas of weakness to improve abilitiesMaintain manufacturing order integrityLeadership and Management CompetenciesAbility to manage, direct, and prioritize employees in your departmentReport out KPIsKey QualificationsHigh school diploma 1 years in manufacturing supervision.3 years background in the processes that deal with tube forming, machining processes. Strong communication skills Microsoft office skills Organizational skillsTechnical QualificationsAssembly equipmentTube formingBasic machine repair and machiningSafety standardsSchematic reading - blueprint with GD&TProblem solvingUse of various measuring instrumentsBasic computer skillsCommunication skills - ListeningPhysical demands: Ability to walk unassisted in a manufacturing environment.Ability to work extended hours as needed.Travel required:
