We currently have an exciting contract opportunity with one of our leading clients Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 12 months + Type: W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY) Pay: $40.00 - $52.00/hour (depending upon experience) Responsibilities The hot gas path (HGP) engineer will support our fleet of gas turbines Responsible for building 2D and 3D finite element models of turbine components Will run thermal, structural, modal or forced response analysis with thermal and mechanical loads followed by lifing (LCF, HCF, creep, oxidation, fracture mechanics), postprocessing of modal results (frequency/Campbell diagram creation); and presenting in Design Reviews. Will focus and work in PowerPoint, review 2D & 3D models. Emphasis on classic ANSYS as this is the key tool that will be used. Will heavily support root cause analysis (RCA) work. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline Master of Science in Engineering preferred Must be able to handle export-controlled material Minimum of 4 -5 years of engineering design experience in gas turbine engines Prior experience supporting or leading root cause analyses (RCA) Minimum of 2 years' experience in Classic Ansys/mechanical design experience Minimum of 2 years' experience in UG/NX experience Knowledge of GD&T standards, and how to interpret engineering drawings, perform stack-ups, etc. Experience using PLM or Teamcenter configuration management tools Strong interpersonal skills and communication (oral and written) skills Customer satisfaction mindset, ability to work well in a team environment with a positive “can do” attitude Additional Information Monday – Friday / 8am – 5pm (EST) Must have availability to be flexible with working hours given this is a global team Contract slated for 12 months: January 5, 2026, through January 4, 2027 Applicants must be U.S Citizen, Green Card holder, or Permanent Resident.
