Writing samples available upon request.SALCINES LAW — Never Close AloneCompensation:$100,000 - $200,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Core ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage full, complex litigation matters from pre-suit through trial, settlement, or resolutionDevelop and execute a litigation strategy aligned with client goals, objectives, and firm standardsDraft, review, and argue dispositive motions, discovery motions, and evidentiary motionsConduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trialsConduct depositions of parties, experts, and key witnessesCommunicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courtAppear as lead or first-chair counsel at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trialsEvaluate cases for risk, legal merit, exposure, cost-benefit, and resolution strategyAdvise clients on litigation risks, timelines, settlement posture, and outcomesSupervise, mentor, and train junior attorneys, paralegals, and litigation staffReview pleadings, discovery, and filings prepared by team members for quality and accuracyMaintain control of litigation calendars, deadlines, and procedural complianceCoordinate with experts, vendors, opposing counsel, and the courtMaintain accurate timekeeping, billing narratives, litigation, and matter budgetsParticipate in case intake, strategy meetings, and file auditsContribute to firm systems, templates, best practices, and litigation playbooksUphold firm reputation through professionalism, preparation, discretion, and ethical advocacySenior Litigation Attorney Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Case Management & PerformancePercentage of cases managed independently without partner interventionCase progression efficiency is measured by adherence to litigation timelines and court deadlinesFavorable outcomes achieved through dismissal, summary judgment, settlement, or trialReduction in adverse rulings due to procedural or preparation errorsRevenue & Financial MetricsMonthly and quarterly billable hour targets consistently met or exceededRealization rate on billed hoursWrite-down and write-off percentages are kept within firm benchmarksEffective management of litigation budgets and client cost expectationsQuality & AdvocacyMotion success rate, including dispositive and discovery motionsDeposition effectivenessis measured by motion leverage and settlement impactTrial and hearing preparedness as evaluated through internal reviewQuality control scores on pleadings, discovery, and filingsClient ExperienceClient satisfaction and retention on litigated mattersClear, proactive client communication with minimal escalation of complaintsTimely delivery of case updates and strategic recommendationsLeadership & Team DevelopmentJunior attorney and staff performance improvement under supervisionReduction in rework or corrective edits on team-prepared filingsContribution to training materials, templates, and litigation SOPsLeadership presence in case strategy meetings and file reviewsFirm Growth & StrategyParticipation in intake evaluations and litigation risk assessmentsContribution to process improvements and operational efficiencyAlignment with firm culture, values, and long-term growth objectivesReadiness for expanded leadership or partnership responsibilitiesQualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolMember in good standing of the Florida BarMinimum of 7+ years of substantive litigation experienceSignificant courtroom experience, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trialsProven ability to manage complex litigation matters independently from pre-suit through resolutionStrong legal writing skills, including dispositive motions, discovery motions, and appellate-ready briefsStrong writing and analytical skillsExcellent oral advocacy and negotiation skillsFully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written required)Experience in real estate litigation, business litigation, HOA, foreclosure, or complex civil matters preferredDemonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising junior attorneys and litigation staffStrong legal judgment with a strategic, solution-oriented mindsetHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical standardsAbility to manage deadlines, priorities, and competing matters in a fast-paced environmentComfort working directly with sophisticated, high-net-worth clientsStrong time management, billing discipline, and organizational skillsTechnology-competent, including litigation software, e-filing systems, and case management platformsCommitment to long-term growth, accountability, and firm leadershipAbility to work independently with minimal oversightProfessional judgment, maturity, and leadership presenceAbout CompanyFounded by Jacqueline Salcines, PA, our firm has spent more than 25 years protecting Florida homeowners, investors, and buyers, as well as providing concierge-level legal service.
