Principal Electrical Engineer – Medical Device DevelopmentMaple Grove, MN | Direct Hire | $150k - $180kAre you an experienced electrical engineer passionate about creating products that improve lives? We’re looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join an innovative, collaborative team developing next-generation medical devices.Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of complex electronic systems, from concept to production.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into reliable, safe, and effective products.Own schematics, system analysis, and design documentation to meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.Drive problem-solving efforts, perform root-cause analysis, and support verification and validation testing.Act as a technical liaison with customers, ensuring projects meet expectations and timelines.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally in medical device developmentAltium experienceStrong skills in analog/digital circuit design, system analysis, and debuggingExperience with embedded systems (C/C++ a plus)Familiarity with regulatory requirements (IEC 60601, ISO 13485, or similar)Excellent communicator with proven ability to lead and mentor othersBenefits:Medical & Dental InsuranceEmployer HSA contribution401k plan with a company matchPTO & HolidayGym membership subsidySTD & LTDBe the first to learn about future positions by joining our Newsletter and following us on LinkedInKonik is an equal-opportunity employer.
