Oakwood Heights Village - We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dining Aide with cooking experience to join our team. This role involves assisting with meal preparation, serving residents, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in food service and basic cooking skills, with a strong commitment to quality and customer service.*Candidate must be able to work a variety of shiftsKey ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing and cooking meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.Set up dining areas and ensure tables are properly arranged and stocked.Serve meals to residents in a courteous and professional manner.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures.Assist with dishwashing and cleanup after meals.Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members.Adapt to varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.QualificationsPrevious experience in food service or as a dining aide required.Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food safety standards.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.BenefitsCompetitive payHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offOpportunities for training and advancement
