Pura Vida Miami - We are a lifestyle brandWe are on a mission to provide the world with simple, wholesome food and beverage items that fit today's lifestyle, offering an intimate, yet fast and consistent, experience to our customers.We love and take pride in what we do, and we currently offer an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and ever-growing brand in this industry. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety regulations.Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops. Regularly remove trash and place it in designated containers.Handle and maintain dishwashing equipment properly. Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Kitchen Manager.Replenish cleaning supplies, such as dish detergent, sanitizers, and towels, as needed.Properly sort and organize clean dishes, utensils, and equipment for easy access and efficiency in the kitchen.Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in appropriate storage areas.Show willingness and ability to cross-train across various roles in the restaurant to ensure rapid growth in responsibilities and contribution to team success.Support with any additional duties assigned.  REQUIREMENTS:Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred but not required.Must possess dexterity to operate industrial dishwashing machines, handle pots/pans, and other equipment, and perform tasks with attention to detail. Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting.Must be familiar with the measurement system.Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to bend and reach overhead often.Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. BENEFITS:Health & Wellness – Medical, Dental, Vision, Telemedicine, and more. Discounted MealsGrowth & Advancement Opportunities 401(k) Plan with Company Match The general nature and level of work being performed by persons assigned to this job classification are contained in this job description.  This job description should not be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, essential job functions, duties, skills required and other job requirements of personnel in this role.  All employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time as needed.  Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to the job at any time.Pura Vida Miami is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
