Custodial SupervisorPosition SummaryWe are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Custodial Supervisor to lead our second-shift custodial team. This role is responsible for overseeing cleaning operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety, and supporting a positive team environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate custodial staff during second shiftAssign tasks and monitor performance to ensure quality standards are metConduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and safetyTrain new custodial staff and provide ongoing coachingMaintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipmentRespond to urgent cleaning or maintenance requestsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesCommunicate effectively with management and team membersQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications a plus2+ years of custodial or janitorial experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory roleStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and lead a teamFamiliarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety proceduresBilingual (English/Spanish or other) a plusAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
