Lighthouse Youth & Family Services has Customer Safety Specialist position at Iowa Street location. Roles available for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of youth. PT Saturday and Sunday from 4pm to 12am PRN Shifts Starting Hourly Rate: $15.00 Essential Functions: Greet and direct visitors and clients, provides temporary visitors badges, and maintains a visitor’s log. Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone call Process requests for information, data and/or documents some of which may be include highly confidential and/or sensitive in nature. Resolve problems and inquiries in a timely manner and understands when to escalate the issue. Responsible for being aware of youth activities and whereabouts while maintaining a safe and productive environment at all times. Facilitate problem solving with the youth as it relates to front door/screening operations. Follow proper screening procedures youth and visitors entering the building. Maintain inventory of keys/badges, radios and ensures functionality. Notifies appropriate parties of discrepancies or breaches. Fill in as Youth Worker as needed. Respond to security breaches and prepares and files reports describing incidents, accidents, or intruders. Qualifications: High School diploma/GED, required. At least 1 years of experience working with youth. A background or college courses in education, social work, or psychology.
