Printpack, a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is seeking a qualified candidate interested in becoming a Multicraft Technician for their VR I facility located in Villa Rica, Georgia. This position will be responsible for the general maintenance of the plant in keeping the equipment/plant in optimum operating condition through exhibited knowledge of mechanics, machine shop practices, mechanical support, and equipment installations/modifications.Pay:$26.16 - $39.24Plus an additional night shift premium of $2.50 per hourSchedule: 12-hour night shift. 3/2 rotating schedule. 7pm - 7am (after training)Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life – after 30 days of employment401K with company matchHourly Bonus ProgramTuition ReimbursementAnnual reviews with a potential for a pay rate increaseUp to $120 for steel toed shoesUp to $135 for uniformsUp to $125 for prescription safety glassesOvertimeMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:HS Diploma or GEDProficiency in using manual and power toolsAbility to trouble-shoot/repair mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic problemsBasic fabrication and machining skillsUse of precision measuring devices including micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, pye tape, etc.Ability to check fuses; wire motors; repair lighting issuesAbility to repair plumbing issues; add additional piping as requiredKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to use a systematic approach in solving problems through analysis of problem and evaluation of alternate solutions; use logic, mathematics, or other problem solving tools in data analysis or in generating solutions. Demonstrate knowledge of technical skills to include, but not limited to, the following: proficient in machine shop practices - welding, fabrication, minor electrical skills, plumbing skills, computer skills, troubleshooting, reading a micrometer, drill press operation, and reading and understanding diagrams.Ability to follow mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic layouts.Tracks work performance through use of computer based maintenance software.Efficient and effective troubleshooting ability.
