The Service Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising the activities of service operations and repairs ensuring acceptable satisfaction with customer, employee and company expectations. Seeking candidates with High School diploma or equivalent; Minimum five years’ service-related experience in heavy construction equipment industry; Previous supervisory experience a plus.Requirements for Service Supervisor position include: Thorough knowledge of the function and repair of heavy construction equipment preferred. Must have the ability to manage and delegate work. Must have strong mechanical knowledge. Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Proficient in use of a computer; able to adapt to changing technology. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be a strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task. Must have attention to detail. Promote a positive customer experience. Physical requirements must be met for the Welding, Machining, Powertrain, and Hydraulic Hammer departments Service Supervisor job, including the ability sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Able to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 20 pounds in weight. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties may be assigned. Starting Compensation Range: $76,000 - $90,000 a year Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, candidate qualifications, education, geographic location, and other relevant business factors. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance e.g. discretionary incentive programs or non-discretionary incentive plans including overtime.
