We provide expertise and technology necessary to execute a project from preliminary design, mapping and ultimately to the final design stage when the project is ready for bid and construction. Then, we provide construction support through plan clarification and contractor and field surveyor coordination. Our Engineering staff has provided economical and efficient designs for numerous projects, ranging from single family residential, large commercial and industrial developments and municipal projects.THD Design Group is looking for an Experienced Civil Designer/Engineer.This position includes a sign on bonus If you are seeking an opportunity with a company you can grow with and you possess leadership qualities and a solid work ethic, THD Design Group wants youESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Prepare design plans for residential subdivisions and commercial sites.Working with Project managers as well as clients on the design of subdivisions, multi-family residential complexes, commercial and industrial site planDevelop or modify deliverables based on rough sketches, marked-up copies and/or detailed verbal instructions.Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software, on a daily basis.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EXPERIENCE Six years civil site plan and/or residential construction design experience Required Six years AutoCAD software experience Required Six years Civil 3D software experience Required Familiar with MSD, St. Louis County and St. Charles County Highway standards Preferred Strong problem solving and resolution skills.Ability to multitask.Strong time management skills.Ability to communicate via email and verbally.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
