Insomniac - Merch Marketing Specialist

THE ROLE The Merch Marketing Specialist will be responsible for leading and executing marketing content distribution strategies across new media platforms while developing new digital business opportunities and growth. This role requires an experienced digital leader to define the strategic plan for all digital channels. This role reports to the Director of Brand Strategy. This position will be fully in office.RESPONSIBILITIESCreate scalable growth plans and marketing campaigns with high-impact solution sets to maximize opportunity optimizationOversee and manage day-to-day marketing plan implementation and budgetsAnalyze past performances of related efforts to determine how to reach targeted demographic for maximum salesOversee effective street team and grassroots marketing efforts with internal teams and local market contactsDrive integration of our paid marketing and social media strategies Assess program effectiveness in collaboration with analytics team, setting KPIs, overall measurement of result and streamline communicationCollaboration with event teams on supporting merch effortsMaintain and build relationships with outside media, vendors, partners and shareholders to accomplish daily objectivesDrive promotional opportunities, including contests and sweepstakes, national programs and sponsorshipsResearch, understand, measure and experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage technology to achieve overall marketing objectives and goalsEnsure all asset requests are completed timely to keep campaign on scheduleProvide valuable insight, development, and implementation in continuous process improvement initiativesMaintain an understanding of and execute against music entertainment and other industry trendsOther special projects and tasks as assigned as neededQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field3+ years’ experience in ecommerce, entertainment marketing, or event production background preferredStrong multi-channel marketing experience including social/digital mediaSuccessful management of multiple clients, teams, and budgetsSolid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practicesDemonstrable experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, Meta Analytics and CRM softwareExperience running reports and exporting data from Google Analytics, email service providers, CRM and other platformsStrong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and measurement approachesKnowledge of digital media planning, buying, and optimizationFamiliarity with maintaining, managing, and optimizing paid marketing campaignsApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.
