You'll be:**The Business Engagement Specialist will support the Endo Surgery Franchise in evolving the Business Engagement Leader (BEL) team as the team looks to:** Deliver on Supplier performance across reliability of supply, quality, cost, innovation, and growth commitments* Orchestrate Category strategy performance to deliver on commitments and business needs* Own Procurement metrics and partner with Category leads to deliver annual value improvements* Develop supplier relationships with strategic suppliers by working with the Categories to achieve business needs*Key responsibilities of the Business Engagement Specialist entail:** Execution and tracking of Source-related purchase orders* Assist in reconciliation of invoicing* Manage PPV reporting and other spend and forecast reporting for the BEL team* Support crisis management activities as needed for supply base continuity related to supplier performance* Represent procurement on key projects in the franchise.* Supplier performance monitoring, analysis, and tracking* Provide assistance in the addition of new suppliers to the Approved Supplier List*Additional responsibilities based on need:** Support New Product capacity planning for component suppliers based on labor and equipment needs* Create presentations on category profiles to translate Enterprise strategies to highlight the relevant focus areas for Ethicon Endo Surgery* Support Tail Spend Supplier Inquires to supplement Source Categories, specifically for Packaging and Chemicals* Support New Product Request for Quote processes, collecting appropriate inputs to the process, including drafting, tracking, analysis, & reporting* Provide assistance with CAR (Capital Appropriation Request) process, including drafting, follow[1]up, tracking & reporting* Provide assistance with supplier business continuity planning* Other responsibilities may be assigned & not all responsibilities listed may be assigned*This job might be an outstanding fit if you:** A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Business Administration.* Five (5) years business experience with a minimum of three (3) years Source experience is required.* Training and/or certification in ISM / APICS / Project Management / Process Excellence is preferred.* Effective knowledge of Purchasing Controls procedures, Supplier manufacturing process flows, Financial Statements, and Supply Chain strategy considerations is preferred.* Experience with Contract development, negotiation, & execution is preferred.* Experience with Purchasing systems, Excel, Data Analytics, Project management software is preferred.* Excellent Interpersonal skills, written, oral, and presentation skills are required*What happens next:*Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
